Whitelist Rules Description
The DeSyn platform offers two types of whitelist mechanisms that guarantee compliance and portfolio security.
1) Investor whitelist
The portfolio owner can determine which investors are allowed to invest in a specific portfolio. This feature supports various compliance operations within the financial sector.
A portfolio owner can enable an “Investor whitelist” option in [Advanced Settings] when creating a portfolio, as shown below.
After enabling the Investor Whitelist while creating the portfolio, you need to add the investors in [Portfolio Detail Page → Settings→Investor Whitelist], otherwise the portfolio can’t be traded.
2) Token Whitelist
The “Investment Token Whitelist,” is mainly used to determine the investment scope of the portfolio. This function mainly controls the risk of the portfolio by limiting the investment tokens that can be invested.
The Investment Token Whitelist on the DeSyn platform implements a two-level whitelist mechanism, the DeSyn community will form a wide-area list of investment tokens based on the various data of these tokens in each market, which we call the first-level whitelist, and the DeSyn community owns the right to adjust this first-level whitelist.
Portfolio owners can build their own portfolio Token whitelist to restrict investment tokens. We call this whitelist a secondary whitelist.
The secondary whitelist can only be set once at the time of issuance, once set, it cannot be modified. If the portfolio owner doesn’t enable token whitelist, the scope of the first-level whitelist will be used as the limit by default.
Portfolio owners can enable the “Token Whitelist” option in [Advanced Settings] when creating a portfolio, as follows:
After enabling the Token Whitelist while creating the portfolio, you need to add the Tokens in [Portfolio Detail Page → Settings→Investment Token Whitelist], otherwise, the portfolio can’t be traded.
